3M™ Scotchlite™ silver reflective fabric 8912 with high reflection values for high-visibility clothing subject to lower stress, such as industrial and occupational garments, leisure wear and accessories.

The 3M™ Scotchlite™ silver reflective fabric 8912 on high-visibility clothing, such as industrial and occupational garments subject to low stress, leisure wear and accessories helps to enhance the visibility of the wearer at night or in low-light conditions. The material shines white when illuminated, even if the wearer is at the roadside. It is composed of exposed retroreflective glass beads bonded to a durable blended fabric (65% polyester/35% cotton) with a binder system. 3M's reflective fabric meets ISO 20471 requirements, easily exceeds the minimum reflections values required at the highest performance level, thus greatly improving the visibility of people. It offers good value for money for high-visibility and occupational garments that require greater durability in home laundering. The reflective fabric 8912 is easily washable at home up to 60°C (60 cycles as per ISO 20471). Another advantage: The material is available in various widths and can be printed on, embroidered on, embossed or used for piping or stamping parts. This means that individual designs can be implemented easily. In addition, the retroreflective properties of the material are independent of the grain on the garment and achieve a good impact even when wet. This means good visibility is ensured for many angles of incidence and even in poor weather conditions. The patented glass bead technology of 3M also ensures a very textile appearance, making the fabric flexible and light and creating a high degree of wear comfort. This makes the material soft to the touch and excellent when worn. A plus in terms of safety: The material is OEKO-TEX certified and contains no skin-irritating substances.
