3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3789, Brown, 5 kg

Hot Melt Adhesive 3789 delivers optimal performance when used with our 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Hot Melt Applicators PG, TC, Q, and EC. This adhesive will also bond wood, polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene, corrugated boxes, and lightweight substrates on furniture, upholstery and novelties. Its 50 second open bond time, along a 1/8" bead, is sufficient for positioning and adjusting for fit and supports efficient production for assembling joining, attaching, securing, repairing, panel bonding, bundling, sealing, encapsulating, rigidizing, foam bonding, gluing, packaging, adhering and closing.

Use exceptional thermoplastic 3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3779 for a tough and durable bond in many applications. Our adhesive is ideal for many surfaces, including vinyl, wood and plastics. It’s engineered with 100% solids thermoplastic resin and designed to re-melt after bonding if exposed to high enough temperatures. It’s virtually invisible between surfaces and so a better alternative to mechanical fasteners and sealing tapes. Our hot melt adhesive is tough, flexible and has high temperature resistance and resilience to fuel, oil and impact. Its open bond time allows plenty of time for adjustments.
