We designed the 3M™ HF-S Replacement Filter Cartridge as an NSF certified, single cartridge replacement filter that helps provide consistent high quality water for commercial ice machines, brewed coffee and tea by reducing the effects of cysts, bacteria, sediment and chlorine taste and odor at flow rates to meet the need for commercial uses such as coffee makers and large capacity ice machines.
The 3M™ High Flow Series Replacement Cartridge, Model HF8-S Get consistent high-quality water for commercial ice machines, coffee and tea brewing equipment. With a double O-ring seal, incorporated carbon block filtration medium and scale inhibitor our replacement filter cartridges reduce chlorine taste and odour as well as sediment and scale to provide protection against the harmful effects of corrosion. The innovative Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design means the cartridges are hygienic by design, allowing for fast and easy cartridge change-outs that require no filter wrench or contact with the filter media. Just a quarter turn is all it takes to remove and replace the filter cartridge, minimising the possibility of leakage and media contamination. FDA CRF-21 compliant for food and beverage contact. Some HF-S filters are designed to be 99.99% effective at removing water-borne heterotrophic bacteria and cyst by membrane filtration. With built-in scale inhibition on some models, they also reduce the ability of calcium and magnesium to precipitate on the evaporator plates as hard scale. These filter cartridges require no pre-activation, their maximum operating pressure is 125 psi (862 kPa / 8.6 Bar) and operating temperature is 100 °F (38 °C). The cartridge body is constructed from high-impact glass-filled polypropylene.
