Strong and Flexible Bonds 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 110 is a versatile, 1:1 mix ratio, two-part epoxy adhesive designed to cure quickly to provide a flexible bond. It works on a variety of substrates including metals, ceramics and glass, wood, and many plastics. Dispenses with minimal dripping, running and for controlled, accurate dispensing. This adhesive features high shear strength and good peel performance that, when combined with good flexibility, makes it ideal for applications involving dissimilar surfaces, including those in the transportation, specialty vehicle, electrical, general industrial, sporting goods, construction, and consumer goods industries. Recommended Applications Bonding and joining Gluing and attaching Assembling and sealing Encapsulating and potting Cures Quickly to Minimize Delays This adhesive has a 1:1 mix ratio, and 10 minute work life; so there's some opportunity for repositioning and to adjust for fit prior to setting. The adhesive reaches handling strength in approximately 20 minutes and is fully cured in 48 hours at room temperature. This product is available in bulk or smaller Duo-Pak cartridges. What Are Epoxy Adhesives? Epoxy adhesives are part of the class of adhesives called structural adhesives, which also includes polyurethane, acrylic, cyanoacrylate, and others. Epoxies begin as reactive liquid polymers that undergo a chemical reaction when mixed, and cure to form a solid material. Once the two parts are mixed in their specified ratio, they begin the curing process and offer a limited working time where the adhesive can be applied and the two surfaces positioned as needed. This work life lasts anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours or longer. Depending on the specific formulation, this class of structural adhesives can provide very high shear and peel strengths, and better heat and chemical resistance than other common adhesives. Epoxy adhesives are widely used in a variety of industrial applications in
